What does "Store Setting Does Not Allow Items to Be Pushed to ServiceM8" mean? |

f you notice an X indicator in Burdi next to a line item on a purchase, it means that the purchase line items were not sent to the job billing in ServiceM8.
This doesn’t always mean something is wrong — it’s often due to a specific ServiceM8 setting designed to control how line items are handled.
In most cases, the “Suppress Line Items” option is enabled in your ServiceM8 settings.
When this setting is turned on, it prevents individual purchase line items from being added to the job billing. This is commonly used when bundles are included in quotes or invoices.
For example, if you’ve grouped multiple materials or services into one bundle, sending each item individually from Burdi could interfere with your structured or bundled pricing.
If your business uses bundled pricing or structured invoices, we recommend keeping the “Suppress Line Items” setting enabled in ServiceM8.
This ensures that your invoices remain neat, accurate, and consistent with the pricing structure you’ve set up.
If you would prefer to see individual purchase line items in your ServiceM8 job billing, you can use the "Purchases" button under the Burdi add on to add individual purchases to the job billing.
Additional Notes
We understand that the X indicator and its meaning can be a little confusing. Our team is already working on an update to make this clearer in future versions of Burdi.
