Burdi Bundles integrates with ServiceM8, but because of the advanced functionality inside the new Bundles system, there are a few important things to understand about how the two platforms work together.
Some of the newer Burdi Bundle features — particularly Bundle Kits and Environments — can’t be fully processed natively inside ServiceM8. To make everything work correctly, Burdi uses the Burdi App as the bridge between your bundles and ServiceM8.
When a technician builds or customises a bundle inside the Burdi App, Burdi captures:
Burdi then exports the completed bundle into ServiceM8 with all of those selections included.
Without going through the Burdi App, ServiceM8 cannot understand or apply these advanced bundle configurations correctly.
ServiceM8 only supports a single sell price per product, which creates a limitation when using multiple Environments inside Burdi.
Because of this:
For example, if “Residential” is the first Environment attached to a bundle, that is the version that will appear inside ServiceM8.
To access the full functionality of Environment-based pricing, technicians should use the Burdi App workflow.
A smart way to structure your bundles is to create:
For example:
These jobs have completely different material makeups, so separating them into dedicated bundle types keeps your pricing and stock more accurate.
The good news is that your bundles can still flow through ServiceM8 to support other connected platforms like Groundplan and additional estimating software.
By structuring your bundles correctly, you can continue using:
…all together within the same workflow.
The order of your Environments matters because the first Environment is the version that syncs into ServiceM8.
You can control this by:
This ensures the correct version is pushed through to ServiceM8.
Burdi Bundles is designed to work alongside your existing systems while giving you far greater control over pricing, estimating, and quoting.
By combining the Burdi App with ServiceM8, businesses can take advantage of advanced bundle logic and Environment pricing without losing compatibility with the tools they already rely on.
