What is Quoted Labour in the Job Report?
The Quoted Labour value in Burdi's Job Report is calculated using any job item that contains the word "Labour" in its name.
This includes:
- Individual labour items added directly to the job.
- Labour items contained within bundles.
- Any material or service item where the item name includes the word "Labour".
How Quoted Labour is Calculated

Burdi automatically sums the cost of all job items that contain the word "Labour" to determine the Quoted Labour Cost.
Formula:
Quoted Labour Cost = Sum of all job items with the word "Labour" in the item name
Example
If a job contains the following items:
| Item | Cost |
|---|
| Residential Labour Rate | $500 |
| Cable | $200 |
| Switchboard Labour | $300 |
| Safety Switch | $150 |
The Quoted Labour Cost would be:
$500 + $300 = $800
Labour Items Inside Bundles
Burdi also includes labour items that are part of a bundle.
For example, if a bundle contains:
- Residential Labour Rate – $500
- Materials – $1,000
Only the Residential Labour Rate item contributes to the Quoted Labour Cost, because it contains the word "Labour".
Important Notes
- The item name must contain the word "Labour" to be included.
- Labour items can be added individually or through bundles.
- Non-labour materials and services are not included in the Quoted Labour calculation.
