How Burdi Detects Job Numbers from Emailed Invoices & Receipts

Burdi automatically detects job numbers from email subjects to keep your jobs organised and accurately linked. If the system doesn’t recognise the job number, it may not connect the invoice to the correct job.

Correct Email Subject Format

To ensure Burdi recognises the job number, the subject line of the email must contain the letters "PO" followed by a space and then the job number.

Example:

Key Points to Remember

  • PO must be uppercase – this is required for Burdi to detect it.

  • Include a space between "PO" and the job number.

  • Place the job number directly after PO – avoid extra characters or words.

Common Mistakes to Avoid

  • Using lowercase "po" instead of "PO".

  • Forgetting the space: PO12345 will not be recognised.

By following this format, Burdi will seamlessly pick up job numbers from your email subjects and link them to the correct jobs.
