📹 Product images vs bundle images

Using Images in Burdi Bundles

Images play a huge role in helping customers understand exactly what they’re purchasing.

When customers are being quoted for products like ceiling fans, kitchen taps, toilets, or powerpoints, they usually want to see what the finished product will actually look like before making a decision.

That’s why Burdi Bundles includes flexible image support for both products and bundles.

Product Images in the App

Inside the Burdi App, the image displayed to the customer is typically pulled from the most expensive product within the bundle.

In most cases, this works perfectly because the primary product is usually the feature item the customer cares about most.

For example:

  • A ceiling fan installation shows the ceiling fan
  • A kitchen tap bundle shows the tap
  • A powerpoint upgrade shows the powerpoint style

If your bundle contains product options or variations, the images will automatically update and iterate through those selected products as technicians make changes.

This gives customers a much clearer visual understanding of the products being installed.

Bundle Images for Complex Jobs

Sometimes a single product image doesn’t properly represent the work being completed.

That’s where Bundle Images come in.

A Bundle Image overrides individual product images and represents the entire scope of work instead.

For example:

  • A switchboard upgrade shouldn’t display just one breaker or component
  • Showing the most expensive product may only represent a small part of the job
  • Customers need to see the complete switchboard installation to understand the service

In this case, adding a dedicated Bundle Image provides a much better customer experience.

Better Visual Selling

Using images inside your bundles helps:

  • Improve customer confidence
  • Make quotes easier to understand
  • Present a more professional experience
  • Help customers visualise the finished result
  • Support faster approval decisions

Flexible Image Control

Burdi gives you the flexibility to choose how your bundles are presented:

  • Use product images for simple installations
  • Use bundle images for larger or more complex work
  • Automatically display product variations where applicable

This ensures your quotes always look clear, professional, and relevant to the work being offered.
