How do I Change My Scope and Option Settings?

How do I Change My Scope and Option Settings?

You can find your Scope Settings under General Settings of the Burdi App.

Default Scope Display

The Default Scope Display setting determines how your scope is presented by default when creating a Pitcherbook.

You can choose from:

  • Summarised – Displays a simplified overview of the scope.
  • Itemised – Displays a detailed breakdown of each quote item.

Purpose:
Choose the display format that best suits your quoting process. This setting becomes the default for new Pitcherbooks but can be changed if required.

Force Customer Links to Summarised

The Force Customer Links to Summarised setting controls how customers view quotes when they open a shared Pitcherbook.

Available options:

  • True – Customers will only see the summarised version of the quote.
  • False – Customers can view the itemised version of the quote.

Purpose:
Setting this option to True is useful when a customer has mentioned they intend to shop around, as it prevents them from seeing an itemised breakdown of your pricing.

Option Labels

Burdi includes three default option tiers that appear throughout your Pitcherbook:

  • Basic
  • Recommended
  • Premium

You can rename each of these labels to better suit your business or sales process.

For example:

  • Bronze, Silver, Gold
  • Good, Better, Best
  • Essential, Plus, Complete

Note: The Premium option is always presented to the customer first by default.
