How do I set my purchase variation threshold?

  Purchase Variation Threshold

In order to ensure that Burdi is only notifying you of purchase variations over a certain amount, we set a default threshold of 5%. This means that if there is a price increase of 5% or above then you will receive a purchase variation notification. To change the default threshold you can do this in your settings.

To change the Variation Threshold Settings:

Step 1: Go to your Account tab â†’click Settings

Step 2: Head to Variation Settings. From here you will be able to change the Price Comparison % and or the Minimum amount. You can do this by deleting Burdi's default setting of 5% and $5 and entering your own threshold.

Now, if the purchase of a product is equal to or more than the threshold set (as shown below) compared to your previous best purchase price then you will be notified of a variance.

Burdi's minimum amount is set to $5 meaning that even though the percentage is 5% we will still only notify you if the total difference is above $5 to avoid unnecessary variation alerts. You can use the Minimum amount before creating Variation option to ignore those few cent differences between the price comparison.

Step 3: Click SAVE AND CONTINUE

All set! Watch the Setting Up Your Account video to see this explained.
