How Do I Create a Bundle with Multiple Product Options?

Sometimes you may want to offer your customers a choice of products within a single job — for example, a “Good, Better, Best” fan option. Burdi allows you to set this up as a bundle, so you can quickly swap between product options at the job level without needing to rebuild your quote.

Why Use This Method?

  • Flexibility: Present multiple product options to the customer.

  • Efficiency: Build one bundle that contains all options instead of creating separate jobs.

  • Accuracy: Easily update which product was chosen by adjusting the quantities in ServiceM8.

Step 1: Add Products to the Bundle

  1. In Burdi, create a new bundle.

  2. Add each of your product options into the bundle (e.g. Fan A = Good, Fan B = Better, Fan C = Best).

  3. Set the quantity as 0 for each one.

At this stage, all products will sit under the one bundle ready for use in a job.

Step 2: Apply the Chosen Product in ServiceM8

When you push the bundle into ServiceM8, each product option will appear in the job with a default quantity of 0.

  1. Open the job in ServiceM8.

  2. Under the bundle, you’ll see all the product options listed.

  3. Update the Qty from 0 → 1 for the product the customer has selected.

  4. Leave the other product options at 0.

Key Takeaway

Using bundles with multiple product options in Burdi and ServiceM8 makes it simple to provide customers with choices while keeping your quoting and job process clean. Just build the bundle once, and then at the job level, adjust the Qty from 0 to 1 for the product the customer selects.
